2 groups clash in Ankleshwar
Bharuch | Saturday, May 17 2008 IST

Two groups clashed in the Kasbativad and Malivad localities of Ankleshwar late last night, forcing police to lob six rounds of teargas shells to disperse the rioteers.

Some youths had a tiff with a grocer, Jignesh Bharuchi, late last night, the police said. The youths attacked Bharuchi's shop, following which people from both the sides indulged in stone pelting. To control the situation, the police lobbed around six rounds of teargas shells. Bharuchi has lodged a complaint against 11 people, but no arrests have been made so far.
