Sonia enquires about TN CM's health

Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today enquired about the health condition of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M Karunanidhi, who was admitted to a private hospital here due to back pain. Ms Sonia Gandhi spoke to Mr Karunanidhi's daughter and Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi over phone and enquired about his condition. Ms Kanimozhi told Ms Gandhi that Mr Karunanidhi would resume his normal duties after a few days of rest, an official release said. -- (UNI) -- 17MS1.xml
