Rajasthan Royals start favourite against Royal Challengers

Rajasthan Royals led by ace spinner Shane Warne has an edge over Bangalore Royal Challengers in their second round IPL match to be played here tomorrow in a tense atmosphere following the bomb blast incidents in the city on May 13.

The IPL commissioner Lalit Modi,who is also the President of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) has assured the teams-particularly the foreign players in both sides for the ightened security arrangements at the venue-the SMS stadium and teams' hotel authorities after having discussions with the local administration.

Rajasthan Royals franchise Emerging Media CEO Frazer Casettelino has said the security arrangement is though a matter of concern for all of us but we are satisfied with the steps taken to this respect.

It has been assured by the state authorities that no untoward incident would take place. The players are too satisfied with security arrangements, he added. Bangalore Royals Challengers' team, after having been assured, has arrived here this morning while around half a dozen Rajasthan Royals' players including Shane Warne and Shane Watson, who had gone to relax in Goa, would be reaching here this evening. The local administration will deploy around one thousand police personnel for the security as per the demand of RCA authorities. The private security personnel will too work under the supervision of police officers, RCA spokesperson has said.
