Sultan Delhiwala passes away Mumbai | Friday, May 16 2008 IST
Prominent Shia Muslim intellectual Sultan Delhiwala passed away at his residence here today. He was 67. He was the managing trustee of the Habib Group which runs a hospital, a college, orphanages, and a chain of charitable dispensaries across the city. He was also the president of Khawja Shia Asnashri Jamat, an apex body of Shia Muslims and was attached with several trusts. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
