Jaipur blast victim to be brought to Mumbai Mumbai | Thursday, May 15 2008 IST
A city-based woman, injured in the Jaipur bomb blasts on Tuesday, will be brought here for further treatment, said family sources here today. Wasima Ahmed, a 30-year-old housewife and resident of Pydhonie in South Mumbai, originally hails from Jaipur. She and her two-year-old daughter went there to spend summer vacations, said Mohamed Ahmed, her husband. On the fateful day, she and her daughter had gone for shopping at the Sanagiri Gate market, where iron pellets emanated from the bomb injured Wasima badly. After the blasts, there was a commotion, in which Wasima and her daughter fell down. They were trampled by the people, who started running helter skelter in fear. But luckily, the minor girl escaped unhurt, he said. Wasima was treated in a local hospital for two days. Now, she will be brought to Mumbai for further treatment, he added. -- (UNI) -- 15BY24.xml
