Around 450 dogs put their best foot forward in Ooty as they vied for the top honours. The three-day event saw the canines parading and running in the rink as the judges judged them on their performances. The dog show is a national event, held every year in the month of May and sees a large participation of dogs. Preened to perfection, the pooches were quite a delight to see as they showcased their skills in front of a large audience. "We have close to 420 entries and we are close to 40 different breeds. Some of the rare breeds that have come to this show are miniature Poodle, Toy Poodle and Shithzu. We have an Hungarian Vizla. Most of the dogs are originated from UK, US, Japan, China and all the other countries," said Siddharth, an organiser. The show had some of the best Indian and international breeds vying for theBest Dog', and 'Best Pup' category. (ANI)
