Naidu has no right to talk about NTR: AP Minister Vijayawada | Sunday, May 11 2008 IST
Andhra Pradesh Animal Husbandry Minister M Buddhaprasad today alleged that TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu had no right to talk about former Chief Minister and TDP founder N T Rama Rao as Mr Naidu had ''usurped'' power from the latter. Talking to newspersons here, he alleged that Mr Naidu had ''stalled'' NTR's dream about Rs-two-per-kg rice scheme in the state. But now, Mr Naidu, in his 'mass contact programme' was lauding NTR's services to the society. He said the Congress Government in the state had realised NTR's dream by implementing the Rs two-kg-rice scheme for the poor. Criticising the CPI(M)'s stand with regard to its alliance with the TDP in the state in the ensuing by-elections, he appealed to the CPI(M) to reconsider its decision. He claimed that the functioning of the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre and the Congress Government in the state were in sync with the ideologies of Karl Marx as it had taken up schemes for provision of houses, land and house sites to the poor. -- (UNI) -- 11MR11.xml
