Light rainfall continues in MP Bhopal | Sunday, May 11 2008 IST
Courtesy troughs built in atmosphere from Bihar to Andhra Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh received light rainfall resulting in a slight drop in the temperature. Showers accompanied by thunder was expected at isolated places in all divisions in the next 24 hours. A regional Meteorological Department spokesperson said Rewa division received light rainfall overnight. Other areas witnessed dry weather. Rewa, Sidhi and Khajuraho were the hottest places, recording 41 degrees Celsius. A high of 37.8 degrees was recorded in the state capital, three notches below normal, while a low of 23.9 degrees was recorded. -- (UNI) -- 11DR74.xml
