Just-born girl baby found abandoned Kancheepuram | Thursday, Apr 17 2008 IST
A just-born girl baby was found abandoned in a bush near the Nathapettai railway gate in this district, today. Police sources said a passerby, Rajathi, heard the cries of the one-day-old baby in the bush and saw the infant. She immediately informed the Kancheepuram all women's police station. Police rushed to the spot and rescued the baby. Investigations were on to find out the parents of the toddler. -- (UNI) -- 17MS10.xml
