Big haul of pirated CDs seized, one arrested New Delhi | Friday, Feb 29 2008 IST
In a rich haul of pirated CDs in the capital city, the Delhi Police have seized over 3727 pirated DVDs/MP3s from a shop in Shahdara in east Delhi and arrested a person in this connection. On a complaint by Indian Music industries that the person Ram Kumar Gupta was indulging in sale and stocking of infringed DVDs/MP3 CDs of popular Hindi and English films, the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police Crime Branch raided an electronic video library running by the accused at Ashok Nagar in Shahdara. Pirated CDs of films like 'Good Boy Bad Boy', 'Namaste london', 'Welcome', 'Chooriyan', 'Guru' and 'Harry Potter were seized from the shop, police said. -- (UNI) -- 29DI49.xml
