Continuing on its rapid growth path in the Indian media industry, Social Media India Ltd (SMIL), an emerging media and communications conglomerate, today entered into a partnership with Kalaignar TV's "Isairauvi TV", a round the clock music channel. SMIL, which runs Bharatstudent.com, India's largest youth community platform, was now widening its spectrum and foraying into the television space with a big bang. Addressing a press conference here, SMIL Managing Director Vishnu Induri said under the affiliate partnership, SMIL would take care of monetising and positioning "Isaiaruvi TV" as a media platform for advertisers across India, through its soon to be launched online Media Exchange. "The music channel is all set to emerge as the leading Music Channel in Tamil Nadu as it has promised innovative content, slick packaging, and strong distribution and reach," Mr Induri said. The pre-launch TAM Ratings had been overwhelming with the channel clocking excellent channel shares and was progressing towards becoming the leading music channel in Tamil Nadu, he said. "SMIL's flagship online affiliate network has already emerged as India's leading online advertising platform with over 600 leading websites. We are widening our spectrum of media platforms and have entered the Television space through Isaiaruvi TV," he said. Kalaignar TV Director and Head Sharad Kumar said "with its unique packaging, innovative content and our strong understanding of the South Indian Television Market, "Isaiaruvi TV is all set to emerge as the leading music channel in Tamil Nadu." -- (UNI) -- 22MS40.xml
