"Visit Egypt 2008" to be launched from Oct 26 New Delhi | Wednesday, Oct 17 2007 IST
The Eqyptian Culture Ministry and Tourist Authority will launch the "Visit Egypt 2008" tourist campaign in India from October 26 and the Cultural Week from October 19. The Egyptian embassy and the Ministry, will present a variety of cultural activities in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities. The Eqyptian authorities are collaborating with the Indian Council of Cultural Relations here for the campaign. The events are aiming at celebrating the historical ties that exist and the flourishing cultural ties between both countries. Talent of painters, musicians, photographers, filmmakers and cinema artists, dancers and leading folkloric troupe besides others will be showcased at the events to the Indian audience. -- (UNI) -- 17DI40.xml
