City-based Yos Technologies, an emerging startup in the healthcare IT domain, has secured its first round of funding to the tune of US Dollar 1.25 million. Mr Rajesh Jain, an entrepreneur and technologist, and Dr Aniruddha Malpani, a leading consultant, infertility specialist and a pioneer in Patient Health Education, have agreed to extend the funds. Announcing the funding, Yos Technologies Founder and CEO Vijaya Verma said ''Yos is focused on enabling continuous care for consumers through its e-Health Gateway that seamlessly inter-connects consumers and Healthcare providers through a secure consumer-owned Personal Health Record system that can be accessed anytime, anywhere using Internet and Mobile Technologies.''
