Three file nominations for by-elections in Arunachal Itanagar | November 18, 2006 12:35:55 AM IST
Altogether three candidates today filed nominations for the December 4 byelection to Roing Assembly seat in Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh. Dature Miuli of the Congress, Raje Menjo of the BJP and Laeta Umbrey of the Independent filed their papers on the last day of filing nominations, election office sources said. The election to the seat was necessitated following resignation of sitting MLA Mukut Mithi after being appointed as Puducherry Lt Governor recently. Scrutiny of nominations would be held tomorrow, while the last date for withdrawal of candidature has been fixed on November 20, sources added. UNI UPB KK PA HS1756
