Police arrested one person in connection with yesterday's incidents during the election campaign by AIADMK Supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.Police said here today a search is on for 50 others who were responsible for causing trouble during the campaign. Mr Nehru of AIADMK was initially announced as the party's candidate to the Orleanpet consituency but was replaced by Actor Anandaraj. Yesterday, disappointed supporters of Nehru who gathered at the Kamaraj Square to welcome Ms Jayalalithaa threw placards on her van after she did not heed to their requests for change in candidature for the seat forcing police to lathicharge the unruly crowd.
