Peoples Conference Party to contest 10 seats Chennai | April 02, 2006 4:33:42 PM IST
The newly-formed People's Conference Party (PCP) would contest ten seats in the May eight elections to Tamil Nadu Assembly.Talking to reporters after the State executive meeting, party President K Sakthivel said the PCP would hold talks with like-minded parties to constitute a front, minus the DMK, AIADMK and the BJP. The process of holding talks with these smaller parties would be completed in the next two days and the PCP would support their candidates in constituencies where the party was not contesting. He said the PCP would contest from Triplicane, Villivakkam, Poonamallee, Tiruvottriyur, Arni, Srirangam, Aranthangi, Alangudi, Peravoorani and Paramakudi.
