DMDK functionary held

Police impounded an autorickshaw and arrested two persons in an election related case here yesterday.According to police today, Mr Ramesh, the Lawspet secretary of the Desiya Murpokku Dravidar Kazhagam (DMDK), founded by matinee idol Vijayakanth, and the autorickshaw driver Raja were arrested and the vehicle seized for undertaking election campaign without permission. Mr.Ramesh had started electioneering in support of DMDK at Kalapet area after the party leader Vijayakanth kicked off the election campaign here. UNI PAB VV PKN 1334
