JD(U) announces 10 candidates for Kerala assembly Kochi | March 30, 2006 10:33:53 PM IST
The Janata Dal (United) today announced the names of its candidates in ten constituencies for the coming assembly elections in Kerala.Announcing the names of the JD(U) candidates at a press conference here, Party state president A S Radhakrishnan said Karakulam Satyakumar would contest from Aryanad, V Asokan (Nemom), Kottiyam Nizam (Iravipuram), Mohan Kumar Kumarathoppil (Karunagapalli), D Anup (Haripad), P J Kurien (Cherthala), Jose Ambatt (Pala), P R Ramdas (Kaduthurthy), V N Chandrasenan (Mattancherry) and Kunjumol Jeromy from Thiruvananthapuram West. Claiming that the ''internal fighting'' in both the UDF and the LDF would increase after the elections, he said the two fronts had nothing new to offer to the people and their manifestos were recycled versions of earlier elections.
