Entertainment Kate Moss denies following 'anorexia motto'
Kate Moss has backtracked after claiming her slogan was "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". The supermodel furiously denied following an anorexia motto, insisting that she does not support it as a "lifestyle choice", reports The Daily Star. The 35-year-old star's management added that her comments, made on a fashion website, were taken out of context. A spokesperson for her model agency Storm added: "For the record, Kate does not support this as a lifestyle choice." Following Moss' skinny comments, a fury had erupted and the stunner was blasted by various eating disorder groups for her viewpoint. Model Katie Green also considered her statement "shocking and irresponsible," especially because Moss has a seven-year-old daughter, Lila Grace. "Kate is a mother herself and how would parents with children suffering from eating disorders feel reading something like this?" said Green, who has been campaigning to stop the use of ultra-thin models in runway shows. She added: "[Kate] should really have thought before she spoke like most of us do before giving interviews." (ANI)
