After La Toya, producer Teddy Riley says MJ was murdered
London | November 06, 2009 1:56:27 PM IST

Producer Teddy Riley has backed La Toya Jackson's claims that her brother Michael Jackson was murdered, saying that the late pop star had revealed names of some people who wanted to kill him.

Although, the King of Pop's death on June 25 has been reported as a case of prescription drug overdose and the cops are focussing their investigation on MJ's physician Dr. Conrad Murray, La Toya has time and again repeated that her brother was murdered.

And now Riley has seconded her assertion.

"He mentioned it to me a few times... like people were out to kill him... and he would say names, saying these are the people who are trying to kill me," the Daily Express quoted Riley, as telling the National Enquirer.

He revealed that he contacted MJ's family as soon as the news of his death surfaced.

He recalled: "I said, 'Listen, he was murdered. Somebody didn't like something Jackson said or something he's doing or didn't want him to go to the top, so they had to get rid of him.' We've got so many people we think it could be. It's going to come out. You're going to find out." (ANI)
