Pink denied entry at own gig after security guard fails to recognize her
London | November 03, 2009 4:11:50 PM IST

American singer songwriter Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore, was denied access to her dressing room at her own gig by a security guard who did not recognize her.

Pink, 30, was held up by the security guard, as she attempted to prepare for her show at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena (NIA) on October 30.

She was only allowed entry into the backstage area after she showed her identification.

"The security guy just carded me for my laminate to get into my dressing room," the Daily Star quoted her as writing on her witter.com page. (ANI)
