Music of Bollywood film 'Juggad ' released
Mumbai | January 03, 2009 7:19:08 PM IST

The music release of the Bollywood film 'Juggad', a film based on sealing drive in New Delhi, took place here last evening.

Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpai released the music of the film at a ceremony where Bollywood glitterati were present.

"The film is about a man named Sandiip Kapur who runs an event management company in Delhi. He is very well off, but all of a sudden when the sealing drive takes place in Delhi he suffers a loss. It's a story of his struggle, but we have presented it in the form of a satire and given the story a comical twist," said Bajpai.

The film is produced by Sandiip Kapur and directed by A. Anand Kumar. It stars actors Hrishita Bhatt, Vijay Raz, Sanjay Mishra and Akshat Kumar.

Speaking about the music of the film, Anand Kumar said that it played a very important role in carrying the story of the film forward.

"Music carries the story forward. It's not a Shahrukh Khan film, which is a big film. It is a story where Manoj Bajpai cannot be singing a song standing on the street and romancing with a lady. It's a realistic film where the songs are required to carry the film forward. The songs do not fall into a particular sojourn," said Kumar.

Bollywood lyrics writer Sameer has penned the lyrics of the film while Sachin Gupta composes the music of the film.

The film is slated for an early 2009 release. (ANI)
