Clooney to star in 'Men Who Stare at Goats' Washington | May 16, 2008 12:15:01 PM IST
George Clooney has signed on to star in 'Men Who Stare at Goats'. Clooney's Smoke House partner Grant Heslov will helm the movie, an adaptation of British journalist Jon Ronson's book about the U.S. Army's First Earth Battalion that tried to use paranormal powers. The title of the movie refers to the notion that one can kill a goat by staring at it. The script has been penned by Brit Peter Straughan, reports Variety. International buyers received the script this week at the Cannes festival. The movie's script topped the 2007 Brit List of best unproduced screenplays. Winchester, BBC Films and Mandate Pictures are expected to finance and produce the pic. (ANI)
