Will Smith supports Tom Cruise's Scientology belief London | November 19, 2007 2:25:57 PM IST
Actor Will Smith is surely one person to whom Hollywood hunk Tom Cruise can look for support whenever he faces criticism over his belief in Scientology. Smith says that he keeps the teachings of Scientology at par with other religions. "We push one another to be better. There's a comprehension of what each of us goes through that everybody else can't understand," the Daily News quoted him as telling Men's Vogue magazine. "I've studied Buddhism and Hinduism, and I've studied Scientology through Tom. And nobody's saying anything different! ... I don't think that because the word someone uses for 'spirit' is 'thetan' that the definition becomes any different," he added. The magazine has also reported that Smith likes to drink girly drinks. "Will literally takes three sips and he's buzzed," the actor's 'Hitch' co-star Eva Mendes said. "It's not even like three sips of whiskey; it's literally a pina colada or a daiquiri - he loves girly drinks - and he's down," she added. Smith's new movie 'I Am Legend' is scheduled for release next month. (ANI)
