Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan made a low profile and quiet visit to the Adyar Cancer Institute to visit children suffering from cancer.The stars, who are currently shooting for ''''Guru'''', directed by noted director Mani Ratnam, visited the children''s ward and enquired about the kind of work being done at the cancer institute. Sources in Mahesh Memorial Trust, which arranged for the visit, told UNI that it was not a scheduled visit. Probably, Mr Mani Ratnam, who is member of the Trust, which is building the Children''s ward told them about the children and the stars wanted to see them. ''''It was a heart warming gesture for the stars and everything happened just like that,'''' the sources said. About 35 children, who were undergoing treatment in the ward were taken by a pleasant surprise when the celebrated duo made a surprise visit.
