The Sunday Indian & IIPM organized Mega Excellence Awards Yeh Dilli Hai Meri Jaan

The Sunday Indian, India's most influential general interest magazine published by Planman Media, presented Indias First Ever General Interest awards Yeh Dilli Hai Meri Jaan at The Imperial Hotel, New Delhi.

The Event was graced by the honourable Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dixit and the ceremony celebrated the achievements of people from Diversified fields like politics, sports, education, construction, etc. and honored the leaders of our country. The Sunday Indian Mega Excellence Awards, Delhi & NCR is a part of the Regional Excellence series that Planman Media has initiated for the first time in the country. This is the only general interest award ceremony that takes place in 14 different regions of India.

The main idea behind incepting these awards was to eulogize the best practices in the political, corporate and social arena and felicitate the performers who have stead high and carved a niche for themselves in their respective fields. These awards were conceptualized in a way as to appreciate the outstanding work of all the deserving performers and for this reason there were 23 illustrious categories which were as dynamic as the nominees who emblazoned them.

The event started with a scintillating and heart throbbing performance by Euphoria a band who gained acclamation for their very well known song Dhoom pichak dhoom. The vibrant and exuberant performance by them bedazzled the crowd as their music bewildered the entire aficionado with their universal appeal. The bands performance reflected a subtle manifestation of emotions expressed in an energetic and harmonious manner and the exhilaration was carried on by Dance Performance by Danceworx .

The Award Ceremony also witnessed the Whos Who of varied Industries, right from Shri. Salman Khurshid Minister of Corporate & Minority Affairs, Mr Virender Sehwag, Mr. Arjun Rampal - Actor , Dr. Kiran Bedi , Mr. Amit Burman, VC- Dabur India , Mr. R.S. Sharma, CMD ONGC, Mr. Pevez Diwan - Chairman, ITDC , Mr. Rohit Bal - Fashion Designer, Mr. Manish Arora - Fashion Designer to Mr. Ramesh Suri - Chairman, Subros Limited , Ms. Vandana Luthra - Owner, VLCC , Ms. Monica Oswal - Oswal Industries , Mr. Satish Gujral - Famous Artist , Ms. Anjolie Ela Menon - Famous Artist , Mr. Pervez Ahmed - Chairman, Max Devki Devi Hospital and many more.

The Sunday Indian Mega Excellence Awards is a thematic awards ceremony touching every aspect of human life. These awards cater to each and every one belonging to the different aspects of the society who in their unique ways have attained the pinnacle of success.
