A union representing London Underground workers has called for a two-day strike to protest stalled contract talks, a union official said. The union, RMT, said talks with city officials have not produced guarantees on outsourcing, pensions and other issues for 2,500 former Metronet workers. Thousands of people are expected to take part in the strike April 28-29, Sky News reported Friday. The union's general secretary Bob Crow, said that weeks of negotiation have been disappointing.
