Crude oil prices eased Tuesday morning to less than $118 a barrel although news of supply disruptions in Nigeria and Scotland continued. Unrest in Nigeria has led to at least four attacks on pipelines, while a two-day strike in Scotland led to disruptions in Britain's North Sea production flow. On the New York Mercantile Exchange Tuesday morning, the price of crude was down 86 cents to $117.89 per barrel. Heating oil prices fell slightly, down 0.0057 cents to $3.2931 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline blendstock prices fell 0.0222 cents to $3.0085 per gallon. Natural gas prices fell 0.174 cents to $11.155 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the national average for a gallon of unleaded gasoline in the United States rose to a record $3.607 per gallon Monday, from Monday's price of $3.603 per gallon, AAA said. (UPI)
