Khusrokhan appointed MD of Tata Chemicals Kolkata | October 13, 2006 2:31:23 PM IST
Tata Chemicals today announced the appointment of Mr Homi Khusrokhan as Managing Director with effect from October 16. Mr Khusrokhan has been with Tata Chemicals since April 2004 as its Executive Director, a company release said. He takes charge from Mr Prasad R. Menon, who has been at the helm of the company for the past six years and will now move on to Tata Power as its Managing Director. Mr Khusrokhan was Managing Director of Tata Tea Limited for three years since 2001 where he built brands like Tata Tea, Agni and Tetley and played a key role in the company's growth, both in domestic and international markets. Prior to his assignment with the Tata Group, Mr Khusrokhan was the Managing Director of GlaxoSmithKline for 5 years. UNI PC PL RD 1329
