Chidambaram holds bilateral meetings with ADB governors Hyderabad | May 06, 2006 8:14:51 PM IST Hyderabad, May 6 (ANI) Finance Minister P Chidambaram held bilateral meetings with the Ministers of New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia and Combodia on the sidelines of the 39th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of Asian Development Bank (ADB) here today. Hon Trevor Mallard, Minister for Economic Development and Associate Minister of Finance of New Zealand called on the Union Finance Minister and held discussions of mutual interest. Hon. Peter Dutton, Minister for Revenue and Asst. Treasurer of Australia met Shri Chidambaram and exchanged views on economic development of both the countries. Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, Finance Minister II of Malaysia and Keat Chhon, Senior Minister of Economy and Finance of Combodia, have also called on the Union Minister and discussed matters relating to bilateral cooperation. Chidambaram also held bilateral meetings on issues relating to economic cooperation and development with Governors for Peoples Republic of China, Japan, Republic of Korea, Germany, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and Temporary Alternate Governor for Uzbekistan during the AGM of ADB.
